This candidate is an experienced developer and with years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics. Some of his accomplishments include introduced and implemented data visualization platform (Tableau) to fundamentally change how departments interact and analyze data in their day to day operations; implemented data integration points between cloud and on-prem applications, built out resiliency in case of an internal or external outage; spearheaded Data Governance initiative to ensure a common language was spoken throughout the environment as it related to data, regardless of the department using the data; created a data warehouse for various departments to provide a singular and accurate source for all production and financial reporting; centralized market share data from IRI and Nielsen, normalized it to be used with our internal data warehouse data; and created and managed various OLAP cubes used by all departments of Daisy Brand (100+ users).

In a recent position, this candidate’s role and responsibilities included:

• Coordinating and directing the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of business data and reporting applications
• Management of centralized reporting data warehouse and its 40+ data sources, 3,000+ data attributes
• Responsible for all hiring, project assignments, budgets, performance management, training, and development procedures for Client’s Business Intelligence Team
• Managed client’s entire SQL database environment. Implemented disaster avoidance and disaster recovery solutions and periodic maintenance solutions to keep the SQL environment healthy
• Management of client’s EDI solution platform. Established standards with EDI partners to ensure integrations with internal applications could communicate with EDI partners and their systems. EDI consisted of Orders, Order Confirmations, Load Tenders, Invoicing, and Inventory Management
• Implementation of Dynamics F&O, managed the data initiative portion of the project, comprising of integrations points between on-prem applications at each manufacturing facility, Azure applications, and external EDI partners. Developed standards for extraction of data from Dynamics F&O using a combination of OData and Microsoft’s BYOD integration utility
• Project Manager for Trade Management data warehouse, which allowed Finance and Sales teams have better visibility into promotional effectiveness and cost of promotional activity.
• Centralization of Plant Operational reporting. Worked with manufacturing facilities to ensure same metrics, the same language was being used when reporting on efficiencies, losses, quality of raw materials, and finished goods
• Collaboratively set and executed Strategic objectives for technology areas involving data accessibility, data proliferation, usability, and governance of data
• Partner with other internal teams, business stakeholders and external vendors to design, develop and deliver various data needs
• Set the vision and roadmap for improvements in the architecture, governance, visualization, and integration of data across various data domains and departments, while ensuring the client meets industry best practices
