This D365 Solution Architect is available for new consulting projects. The candidate is a senior-level expert in Functional Design and Implementation for MS D365 FO & Dynamics AX, with competencies in Supply Chain, Financials, X++/SSRS Development, and AX architecture. He is a certified “Techno-functional” consultant with a wide spectrum of experience in ERP from diverse business models across the U.S. This individual works in Manufacturing, Trade and Logistics, Finance/Accounting, Projects, X++ Development, and Business Intelligence. This candidate also has a particular interest and specialization within Business Intelligence. He has a strong technical background in BI and reporting, with a goal of maximizing reliability of companies’ and clients’ BI and reporting capabilities.

This candidate has expertise in solution architecture, design for ERP and Power Platform, BI system design, EDI and data integration (Azure and On prem), Process Automation Design and Implementation, Configuration of production and supply chain modules, functional implementation from discovery-post-go live support, documentation, requirement gathering, training end-users, training developers, using Azure Logic Apps, using Azure Data Lake, using Azure Data Bricks, Power BI, Power Apps, Azure Migration to IAS for Azure VM’s network and security, setting up security in AX, Warehouse Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

He recently completed a project where he migrated AX 2012 legacy to Azure VMs and brought 7-year-old servers into brand new windows and SZL 2019. The client he worked for now runs everything from the cloud and was not forced to upgrade to D365 F&O before they were ready. If they do decide to take that step in the future, the Azure architecture is already set up; saving them time and money when it happens.

Prior to this project, the candidate worked on a project where he upskilled his client’s internal team AI/ machine learning, process automation using RPA (robotics process automation) and IOT (internet of things), migration to Cloud, and integration using serverless architecture.

Some of his responsibilities in his current role include:

• Custom integration, reporting, and development work against 65+ legal entities in AX, to support the investment portfolios created to harvest forests.
• Management Reporter and Atlas Financial reporting to represent the investments, especially for investors owning multiple legal entities in AX
• Custom integration coded to interface with Concur expense management, importing expense records per employee, Financial Dimension, and legal entity.  Staging area for review before creating GL Journals.
• Custom integration coded to interface with AMEX credit card records, importing AMEX credit card transactions per employee, Financial Dimensions, and legal entity.  Staging area for review before creating AP Journals.
• Custom integration with a SQL-based logging system—AP, AR, GL, and log load imports that fed into their respective journals and tables.
• SSRS reporting on Chilean statutory tax filings, configured for language and currency-specific printing.
• SSRS reporting customizations for AP, Bank Reconciliation, GL, and AR
